Product Description

Wool-blended felt is a non-woven fabric produced by blending wool with synthetic fibres such as polyester, viscose and polypropylene through needle-punched pressing. It retains the natural warmth, moisture absorption and air permeability of wool, while achieving higher tensile strength, improved wear resistance and enhanced dimensional stability from the added synthetic fibres.

Application

Industrial applications

1.Manufacture felt gaskets, sealing rings, buffer pads and noise-reduction shims. Used in machinery, motors and bearings for vibration damping, noise reduction, gap filling and dust-proofing.

Used as automotive interior shims and chassis liners for vibration and noise reduction.

2.Oil-absorbing pads for machine tools and industrial workshops; oil spill clean-up for vessels and equipment; oil-water separation and wiping of greasy surfaces.

3.Air filtration for chemical plants, textile mills and cement plants; coarse liquid filtration; dust-collecting filter media.

4.Produce felt polishing wheels and strips for stainless steel, aluminum alloy, glass, marble and hardware workpieces. The soft surface helps avoid scratching parts.

5.Heat-resistant liners for equipment and pipeline insulation; sound-absorbing materials for machinery chambers and equipment cabins.

6.Liner padding for precision instruments and electronics to prevent collisions and scratches; wiping felt for enameled wires; cushion pads for medical devices.

Household & civil uses

1.Coasters, table mats, placemats, drawer liners, storage baskets and bags, floor mats, acoustic wall panels, and anti-slip furniture foot pads to help protect floor finishes.

2.Thermal insoles, shoe linings, hat liners, garment interlinings, and cold-proof labour-protection felt sheets.

3.Chinese painting/calligraphy felt underlay that absorbs ink to prevent ink from bleeding onto table surfaces.

4.Greenhouse thermal blankets, livestock shed insulation liners, and warm inner padding for pet beds.

Handicraft & DIY applications

1.Pre-cut needle-punched felt sheets for bags, ornaments, badges, fridge magnets, bookmarks and decorative art bases. Suitable for laser engraving to create custom logos and special-shape crafts.
