Felt grow bags (also known as felt gallon bags) are plant containers made of felt or non-woven fabric, with capacity indicated in gallons. Compared with traditional plastic pots, felt gallon bags provide a healthier growing environment for plant roots by offering excellent breathability and drainage, making them an ideal choice for modern gardening.

1. Superior breathability & drainage
Felt material has a naturally porous structure, allowing air to penetrate the bag wall and reach the root system, creating the Air Pruning effect. When roots grow to the bag wall and come into contact with dry air, root tips naturally stop growing. This promotes lateral root development and helps form dense, healthy root masses, effectively preventing root circling and binding.
2. Temperature & moisture regulation
The felt material provides insulation for roots in winter and helps dissipate heat in summer, maintaining relatively stable soil temperatures and creating an optimal growing environment for plants.
3. Eco-friendly & durable
Reusable: after harvest, the bag can be cleaned and used to plant other crops.
Foldable storage: the bags can be folded flat when not in use, saving space.
UV resistant: some products feature UV protection, with an outdoor lifespan of 5–8 years.
Biodegradable: made from environmentally friendly materials.
4. Easy to move
Reinforced handles on both sides of the bag enable easy transportation even when filled with soil, making it convenient to reposition as needed.
