SAE pressed wool felt is made from 100% wool with a thickness of 0.5–70 mm and a density of 0.10–0.65 g/cm³. Available sizes include 1×1 m, 1.2×1.2 m, etc. Suitable for use in applications requiring pressed wool felt material.

Product Description
 



Wool scales are opened by hot-water wetting. The wool fibres then interlock and tangle, shrinking through repeated mechanical kneading, rolling, beating, and squeezing. Under continuous pressure, the fibres are densely compacted to form non-woven, glue-free felt boards with a tightly structured build.

4. Oil absorption & filtration: machine-tool oil absorption, lubricant filtration, and chemical dust filtration.

5. Heat & sound insulation: equipment thermal insulation, pipe heat preservation, automotive interior noise reduction, and musical instrument sound reduction.
