Wool felt flap wheel consists of stacked sector-shaped, high-density wool felt flaps, bonded to a fiberglass backing plate and designed for angle grinders. The gaps between the flaps provide excellent ventilation and heat dissipation, helping to prevent thermal burn and discoloration of the workpiece during continuous polishing. The elastic wool felt conforms to flat, curved, and irregular surfaces. When paired with polishing compound, it delivers medium polishing performance and can be used to achieve mirror finishing. Available in a square edge (flat Type 27) and a rounded edge. The square edge is ideal for large flat surfaces, while the rounded edge fits corners and arcs to help prevent edge scratching and chipping. Widely used for finishing stainless steel, aluminum, copper, sanitary ware hardware, molds, stone, and glass.

Features
1. Ventilated flap gaps for effective heat dissipation, helping to prevent discoloration and thermal burn during long polishing cycles
2. Elastic wool felt conforms to curved pipes and irregular profiles for a consistent finish
3. Excellent capacity for holding polishing paste; removes fine scratches efficiently to achieve mirror gloss
4. Square edge for efficient flat polishing; rounded edge helps protect sharp corners against scratches
5. Reinforced fiberglass backing for stable high-speed operation; helps prevent flap shedding and breakage
6. Compared with solid wool wheels, the flaps wear progressively for improved cost performance
The wool felt flap wheel is suitable for a wide range of fine polishing applications, including:
1. Stone processing: surface brightening and edge/line polishing of marble and granite.
2. Glass processing: glass edge grinding, scratch repair, and mirror finish brightening (typically used with cerium oxide powder).
3. Metal finishing: scratch removal and mirror polishing of stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and other metal surfaces.
4. Ceramic processing: fine surface polishing of ceramics.
5. Other applications: fine polishing of wood furniture, plastic housings, jewelry, and jade.
