Wet & dry sanding discs with hook & loop are round abrasive discs with a flocked backing, designed to attach securely to a hook-and-loop backup pad. Key benefits include fast disc changes, stable attachment, and compatibility with electric and pneumatic tools for efficient sanding.

The discs can be quickly mounted on backing pads for straightforward replacement. Suitable for both dry and wet sanding, they provide a consistent fine scratch pattern. A waterproof base helps resist damage when used wet, making them well suited for fine sanding, paint correction, and pre-polishing preparation. A full grit range is available and these discs are widely used in auto detailing, hardware, woodworking, plastic, fiberglass, and stone processing.

1. Sanding old automotive paint layers: removing original or repaired paint finishes to prepare the surface for new paint application.

2. Eliminating orange-peel texture on car paint: leveling uneven, orange-peel-like texture on clear coat surfaces to achieve a mirror-like gloss finish.

3. Sanding body filler (putty/bodywork compound): smoothing filler on dented areas to create a seamless transition with surrounding metal panels.

4. Removing rust from metal surfaces: cleaning off surface rust and oxidation layers from steel, aluminum alloys, and other metal workpieces.

5. Deburring metal edges: removing sharp burrs left on metal edges after cutting or drilling to help prevent injuries.

6. Sanding raw wood furniture (white wood): smoothing wood splinters and rough saw marks before applying finish coatings.

7. Sanding wood coating layers: leveling primer or topcoat layers between applications to improve adhesion for subsequent coats.

8. Wet sanding stone surfaces: grinding marble, granite, or other natural stones with water to restore worn areas and enhance surface shine.

9. Grinding glass edges: smoothing sharp edges of cut glass to make them safe to handle.

10. Fine polishing jade and jewelry: using high-grit sanding discs with small rotary tools to delicately polish the curved surfaces of jade, crystals, and gemstones.

11. Smoothing plastic part mould lines (flash): removing parting lines or excess flash left on plastic products (e.g., electronic housings) from the injection moulding process.

12. Blending paint edges for color matching: sanding the transition area between old and new paint layers during spot repairs on vehicles to achieve a seamless color blend.
